Its Delta Beta chapter was installed on the Lamar campus in the spring of 1960. The purpose of Eta Kappa Nu is stated in the preamble to its constitution: That those men in the profession of electrical engineering, who by their attainments in college or in practice, have manifested a deep interest and marked ability in their chosen life work, may be brought into closer union whereby mutual benefit may be derived.
