Our Puplbeteefcf. . . Left: MRS. EDITH BOREN The Puppeteers are those who actually manipulate the puppets, they govern each action and gesture. Our office staff and faculty do an admirable job in this Field. Each one holds a position which is essential to the mechanics and smooth running of thc production. It is through Mrs. Ruth Leavell, the Dean, that Lamarites check in and out of school, in her office absentee reports are tallied, and messages are received for students. Mrs. Edith Boren and Mrs. Gwendolyn Koch, the Registrars, have the demanding job of keeping all permanent records, of sending grade transcripts and applications to colleges for seniors, and of checking class standings. Mrs. Alice Harrell, in the main office, acts as Mr. Wright's secretary, and runs the general school business and corre- spondence. With the able assistance of Mrs. Lorena Kobe and Mrs. Isabel Peden, the Clerks, such affairs as the balancing of money transfers, the safe-keeping of funds o' school organizations, and the care of general records are carried on. Mrs. Peden supervises the cafeteria cashiers, as well, and Mrs. Kobs is in charge of all mimeo- graphing. In the Guidance Office, Mrs. Ula Henncs anil Mrs. Rose B. Goodrich are always on hand to solve problems concerning four year plans. Here, a complete fi'c of college bulletins and requirements may be found, while all scholarships and applications go through this office, too. Also, important test records are kept on file here, and this busy place is responsible for administering and tabulating the results of the Otis Test. In each office, some of the duties are taken over by students. Earh oflice is equally Valuable, and without any one of them, this school could not function. MRS GXVENIIOLYN Kocu MRs.
