5 ClllSSlS Lamar recognizes the fact that manual training is a phase of education not to be overlooked. Here a student is at work in Lamar's newly built and equipped shop. Art is one subject that is as much fun as work. Here a group of students are busily working on one of their proiects, the construction of paper mache figures. Lucky is the man who marries one of these girls, for she will certainly be an experienced chef after finishing the cooking course offered by Lamar's home economics department. As busy as bees but twice as clever are these girls at work in one of Lamar's classes in sewing, iust another phase of home economics instruction. Upper right: MR. H. E.
