You know them for the work they've done in and for Lamar, the responsibilities they have shouldered in the interests of Lamarican democracy. They have, to the best of their abilities, promoted both Lamarism and Amer- icanism. They are all leaders in scholarship, group activities, citizenship. Be- cause they have striven constantly to make real the promise of a high-school democracy, because they are true representatives of that ideal, this book is dedicated to them-the scholastic celebrities of today, the civic builders of IOHIOITOW.
