Back To The Future Lamar High School is a well spirited school. When Diane Thomas, a senior, was asked what could be done to promote more school spirit, she said, If students find an interest in coming to school or if students become involved more in the way school is operated, I feel school spirit would be given a big boost. In rating Lamar High School on a scale of 1-10. Diane rates it as 5 and rising. In a one-word description of the school. Diane says that the school is influential. She believes that it is an opportunity knocking at the door. Lamar High School can be described as a school of spirit, happiness, and experiences, according to senior. Dale Munn. He adds that the faculty and custodial staff are positive aspects at Lamar High.” In rating our school. Dale rates Lamar a 9. which means he thinks it is exceptional. What can be done to promote more school spirit? Have more pep rallies and more school activities. said Jamey Ard, a junior at LHS. Being a junior, Jamey feels great because he only has one year left. This idea was also shared by Sandra Jacobs. another junior at LHS. When asked how they felt about seniors being dismissed for lunch two minutes earlier than underclassmen. both seemed to hint that it was alright by them, because when they become seniors, they look forward to this. An average of eight was concluded when asked, on a scale of 1-10 how do you rate Lamar High? Describing LHS was also easy for Sandra, who in brief said, It's an Experience! If you could use one word to describe Lamar High School what would it be? Genovia Harell, a sophomore thought that the word intellectual would fit the bill. That is one of the many positive aspects of Lamar High School. Do you think this year will be a good year for you? Steven Morrell, also a sophomore, replied Yes, it's going to be 25% better than being a freshman. This year should be a good year for everyone. 3 10 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 4 Genovia Harrell Is getting ready for the end of the day. Jamie Ard takes time for an interview. Sandra Jacobs in Mr Robbins room.
