c tucfent 2 3 5 The halls of Lamar High are the scene of many dreams, ambitions, and disappointments. Lamar High is the stage, we, the students are the actors. Through the years of our high school career we learn from our role as students how to play the part of adults. The teachers, our coaches and critics, applaud our achievements and teach us to go on with the show through our mistakes. In the following pages we, the annual staff hope to reveal part of the drama, comedy and suspense of life at Lamar High School. 7ld i A A e ics 71c II Ac y 71c hi Ac vi (Jracfua ion 7 Dedicatecf Jo Mr. W. From that time on the Foxes went undefeated for seven straight wins. They soundly beat Maye-wood and threw the conference into a three-way tie. First the Foxes had to beat Timmonsville, which they did, then the title game against Mayewood played in Lake City, was won by the Foxes 19-12. This game gave them the 5-B Conference Championship. Now the Foxes had to beat Hemingway to earn the chance to play Allendale-Fairfax for the Class B Lower State Championship. The Foxes beat Hemingway 61-12. Next they won the Class B Lower State Championship from Allendale-Fairfax 33-27. The game was won with 40 seconds left to go when Tommy Suggs threw the bomb to Myrtis Knotts for a touchdown.
