He must consistently be an example of spirituality; he must exhibit that vision and courage which will become a lasting part of the character of his students; he must constantly seek to give them a sense of practicality and usefulness. This is the role of the teachers at Lamar High School. Their influence upon the lives of the students enrolled here continues in lives of graduates long after they have left the halls and walks of Lamar High School. 17
