BETA The Beta Club, which this year is one of the largest in our school’s history, has had a full year. Being a service as well as an honor society, they have contributed much to the school. The friendly faces in the supply room each morning and the haggard, but willing, ones at the consession stand at ball games belonged to none other than Betas. Planning and checking lay- Shipping the annual to the outs publisher at last. At first it was only a dream - - a dream that started early in the summer. In this dream we didn't visualize the time, work, and patience required to shape it. We didn't consider the complications of getting cars every week to get ads or planning beauty contests or conducting picture sales. It all seemed so simple until we began the real work. CLUB You know the saying All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” - well, the Betas know it, too? Besides the socials after each meeting, they had a Christmas party and attended the Beta Club Convention. They know how to have a good time and uphold the Beta Club principles at the same time! The Betas would like to leave a message to the students who were not among the ranks this year: Work so that you, too, can become a part of this wonderful organization.
