BUILDING and GROUNDS CUSTODIANS 'Max Mr. Jim Myers and Mr, Hilbert Rowe, custodians, spend many long hours cleaning and repairing this old building. Mr, Myers was always on duty early in the morning to be sure the building was warm. Mr. Rowe stayed until late at night so that we could use the building for our many activities. Another man who helped us was Mr. Ivory Willians. Among his many duties was the care and maintainance of the football stadium and field. It takes many people to keep things moving and these three men did their best for us. xx . A .1 Ground breaking ceremonies for the new high school were held April 4. Attending were members of the board of education, school officials, head boy and girl and members of the sophomore class who will be the first graduates from the new build- ing. Pictured in the foreground are Mr. Milne, Mr. Young, Mr. Coffman, Stella Leal, Fred Williams and Mr. Nye. 23
