MR, RALPH E. TURPIN, President of the board, was one ofnine to re- ceive the Colorado Association of School Boards HonorAward for out- standing service. This honor was given by the Colorado Association of School Boards at the convention in Colorado Springs. RE 2 BOARD OF EDUCATION DEDICATED TO SERVICE The principle concern of the board this year has been the finalizing of the plans for the new high school building. Bids were opened in March and actual construction begun in April with completion date set for June 1968. These dedicated men on the board took time from their own businesses, not only to spend hours at regular meetings, but to attend state and national meet- ings. Several members attended the Colorado Association of School Boards in Colorado Springs.
