MRS, l.OlS APPLEGATE B, A, Western State College Mrs, Applegate, Girls' Advisor, taught two classes of Bookkeeping, and sponsor- ed the yearbook, Donna Dillon is interested in some of the material available to all students who ask for help in learning more about Col- lege, wav 9 D MR, GENE KRUSE B, S, Southeast Missouri State College M, A, University of Colorado Mr. Kruse, Boys' Advisor, taught one General Math class, kept the attendance records, and sponsored the Student Coun- cil and the National Honor Society, l-ie also had first semester Driver Training. He is pictured here with Roger Brown who is a senior, fm t'e'5 gi :Qui ' What do Iwant to do for my life work? Do I have the ability and interest to make a good pilot, mechanic, scientist, lawyer, nurse, secretary . . .2 What courses should I take in high school so as to be prepared for a job or for college training? These are some of the questions we all ask. Our counselors give us tests and more tests and spend much time discussing our interests and abilities. They show us where to find the latest information on all vocations and help us in trying to decide what college will be the best for what we want, or what kind of work we are best fitted to do. We have to make the final decision but it does help to talk with someone about our problems.
