We witnessed this during the past year by their sponsorship of fire drills and their solution to the parking problem. 5 Our student council is concerned not only with cam- pus conditions, but also with conditions existing in our school district. This year they participated in the formation ofthe Good Sportsmanship League with 5 other schools in the district. Last, the student council is always striving for better- ment. A Lamar delegation attended the Gulf Coast Student Council Association in Clear Creek to see what steps other schools are taking toward this end.
