I791 5 g; E. FOOTBALL At the ooening of practice in August, thirty-nine young men reported to Coach Young and Coach Neft tor the second football season at Lakoto High School. By the opening game the squad de- creased to thrity-two hard lighting gridmen. Due to the new equipment the coaches were able to outfit Forty boys, comDore-cl with the twenty-three they did last year. This will helD strengthen the reserves. Next year the coaches hope to have enough equipment to have both a varsity and reserve tecrm. This year also found the boys Dloying on their own field which was completed with lights and bleachers by the outstanding help of the Adult Boosters Club. The students, faculty and parents all enioyed many exciting gomes, in which the boys showed great improvement. The team will lose twelve seniors but there are underclassmen who have received valuable training and experience to fill the vacancies.
