I trust that this has been an enjoy- able and profitable school year for all of you. To the seniors, bon voyage and suc- cess at whatever venture they pursue. To the underclassmen I hope that education continues to provide some of the answers for which they are looking or at least gives them an insight into the complexi- ties of life. To be or not to be, that is the ques- tion. The responsibilities for what each of us is or is to become is ours and ours alone. We are responsible for our ac- tions whether they be good or bad. There- fore, the worn out phrase that I am what I am because of someone else's faults or failures is pure fallacy for the most part. Thus, we are all who we are because of our own efforts--we are basically who we are because we want to be the way we are. I hope that your high school exper- iences help provide you with the know- ledge and perception, along with your own initiative and sense of responsibility, to be a benefactor to society. Without this cheery-faced secretary, Twila Smith, L.H.S. could never make it through the year. L Working behind the scenes and being a great help is Marcella McVey, secretary to Mr. George.
