BAND The main point stressed in the instrumental music classes is flexibility and how to use it. In order for a person to be flexible he must be trained in the simple every-day fundamentals of what he is doing. I-larold Waldrum VOCAL MUSIC Singing is probably the oldest form of music art. It is natural to sing. In order to enable students to enjoy vocal music to the fullest, it should be the intent of every vocal instructor to train students that, no matter when or where they sing, they will have developed for themselves a set of habits that will enable them always to sing to the fullest extent of their capabilities.
