German Club The purpose of the German Club is to gain interest and knowl- edge concerning the culture, customs, and lands of the German speaking people. Various club activities include outings, picnics, parties, dinners, plays and films. The club maintains a scholar- ship fund for students who might otherwise not be able to par- ticipate in club activities. Fail-inch club The French Club wishes to stimulate interest in the acquisi- tion of knowledge pertaining to the culture, customs, lands and language of the French. They took a field trip to see Jacques Brel is alive and well and living in Paris in the fall and since then participated in the language club holiday party and had their own French dinner.
