1 as - www-gamfzw-1 I-.. 'mln- Qtudent Council The Student Council is the elected assembly of Lake- wood High School and serves as the voice of the student body. In addition, it is the intermediary be- tween the students and the faculty and administra- tion. This year, the Council, under the guidance of Mr. Stein and Mr. Landis, has been involved in Ocean County Student Government Day, the tradi- tional Thanksgiving parade and bonfire, ice cream sales, Christmas homecoming, and the Community Chest Drive. With the Key Club, they bought a pub- lic address system for the school. In the spring, a council committee revised the school handbook for next year. The main concern of the Student Council is the general welfare of the school.
