Barefoot In The Park Under the direction of Miss Byrne, the Lakewood Dra- matic Arts Club presented Neil Simonls smash hit Bare- foot in the Park. Marybeth Brinley and Bennet Rudney artfully portrayed the leads, Cory and' Paul Bratter, while Lise Ressner and Howard Gindoff brilliantly supported them. Being the first major production of the year, the usual throngsof people turned out and warmly greeted one of the finest shows in DAC's history. Lilies Of The Field On February 19, 20, and 21 Lakewood High School's dramatic arts club pre- sented Tloe Lilier of the Field. Ralph jones made his stage debut as Homer Smith, the wandering black laborer. Mother Maria Marthe was admirably portrayed by veteran actress Lise Ress- ner. The nuns, played by Robin Taylor Robyn Opper, Linda Waddill, and Anne Wulfkutte, along with Scott Hannett as Father Gomez caused a religious atmosphere to pervade the stage. joe Schulman, as jose, lent a Mexican flavor to the play. All were inspiring in their parts. This highly suc- cessful play was directed by john Ogle. K ses-:ern ,,,-. ,, -I . Mother Maria Marthe meditates.
