American Field Service The American Field service raises money from their tag day and cake sales to bring a foreign exchange student to Lakewood High. This year's exchange student is Geir Bakka, from Norway. The highlight of the year is the spon- sorship of an A.F.S. weekendg it is at this time that exchange students and their American brothers and sisters visit L.H.S. r' ' ' 't Keg Club Interact members from lefl lo rigbl: Zeff Lazin- ger, Linda Stout, Lynn Cohen, Patti Pillion, Dan Jensen, Steven Gelbstein, Richard Sprinkle, Pat Brown, Marilyn Wolpin, Alec Cohen, Robin Opper, joe Koenig, Connie Diamond, Jackie Gindoff, and Rita Klein. Glenn Melnick and Stan Friedman frolic amid the wood. The annual talent show, the gathering of wood for the Thanksgiving bonfire, the presenting of Christmas gifts to hospitalized children, all these things are services provided by the Key Club. The club serves the school itself and the surrounding area in any way possible.
