Make the Investment Any good investment pays a handsome return: the years spent at Lakewood High School were no exception. They were an investment in the future. Lancers pre ared themselves by accepting the challenges of acadnemic classes, such as advanced placement history, which would afford them the op ortunity to save time and money in college. Leaders of tfie many student organizations on cam- pus gained experience in lanning, or anizing, managing and working toward the acliievement 0? common goals and ideals. Courses such as computer programming and draft- ing provided the opportunity to gain practical, marketable skil s. The wise investment of time and effort paid big dividends. 1. MR. MEDNICK leads his advanced placement history class to intellec- tual victory. 2. The CABINET was often found to be the hardest working group on campus. 3. The LANCE STAFF takes time out from its arduous uties to pose for the photographer. 4. Under MR. FLYNN'S direction, TODD BRUNINC, IAMIE BARCUS and SUSIE IACKSON learn the basics of computer programming. 5. ROTC presents a colorful display of the flags at the Milk Bowl. 6. MRS.
