Harland Eslinger has been with Lakewood since it's opening in 1957. He is responsible for the attendance and discipline of senior boys. His many other duties include the supervision of the counseling program, awards program, co-ordinator of the athletic pro- gram and the supervision of all special events. Miss Mary McClellan, Assistant Principal also came to Lakewood in 1957. She is in charge of all girls attendance and discipline. Cther responsibilities included Girls League, federal surveys, graduation activities, and orientation of new students and teachers. Mr. Harvey Kirlan, Assistant Principal, ioined the Lakewood staff this year. He is in charge of supervision of the student store and general student body finance. Other duties include ID cards, lockers, auto registration, civil defence and iunior boys discipline and dress regulations. Assistant Principal, Mr. Donald Smith, came to Lakewood this fall. His many duties include discipline and attendance of sophomore boys, superivsion of the driver training program, audiovisual co-ordination, supervision of text books, lost and found and employee ratings. Mr. William Hutton, Activities Director, has been at Lakewood since 1957. As advisor of the Student Cabinet, he works closely with the student body. Other responsibilities include supervising all student government works, planning assemblies, co-ordination of social activities, school dances and game programs and tickets.
