secondly i9tE iQ1VH!lClQS blower its With Friend Getting along with everyone in Lakewood High is the job of Robert L. Meeks, assistant principal. Aside from his regular duties of arranging schedules for students and faculty and taking charge of boys' attendance, he acts as dean of boys. This year he served as principal between the changing adminis- trations. With the cooperation of the faculty he kept Lakewood's program running smoothly until Mr. Povenmire took over. By conferring with teach- ers, students, and parents, he has been able to help solve many problems-academic, vocational, and per- sonal. Characteristic of Mr. Meeks' philosophy is this statement: The job of Lakewood's educational system is to teach today's teen-agers to be not only good American citizens but good World citizens.
