The Student Council As a training ground for the citizens of the future, the Student Council is invaluable. The Student Council, composed of home room representatives, is organized into Working committees: the tax stamp committee collects tax stamps, investing the money in War Bonds to be used to build the recreational cabin in the future, the library com- mittee assists in the libraryg and the Executive Council, composed of the officers and committee chairmen, supervises the functioning of the coun- cil. Other important committees that are managed by the Student Council are law, public Welfare, council duties, recreation, and safety. These com- mittees assist in making our school operate smoothly and efficiently. 10-B's are sworn in by Law Director Platt.
