At the District III One Aet Play Competition, I Bring You Flowers rated superior. Claudia Benbow, best actress, and Marlon Julian, all star cast, competed at state level on March 3-5. District also attended the International Thespian Society's Florida State Com- petition at the University ol Miami on March 3-5. During the year. the drama department had lunehbox theaters during all lun- ches and had a Clown Mime Troupe who went to hospitals and entertained the students at school. With all these activities, during, the spring they still managed a full- produetion musical of Fiddler on the Roolf' Mime-O-Grams and William Shakespeare's Birthday Roses were sold by the drama club and thespians to raise money.
