Junzor Class News We the Jumor Class of 1951 have a total of elght class members three gurls and fxve boys The class offlcers are as follows Pres1dent Don Glndlesberger Vxce Presldent Vaughn Campbell Secretary and Treasurer Mxckey Shearer Our class has partrcxpated ln many actlvxtles durmg our hlgh school years There were several members of our class that partzcxpated xn the clec lamatlon contest Last year two of our glrls Dorxs Morrxs and Mickey Shearer were ln the flnals at B1g Pra1r1e wlth one of them Dorls Morrxs gomg to the State Contest Basketball has been an outstandlng sport for the boys ln our class W have had four of our boys on the Vars1ty Squad for the last three years I the Rah' Rah' Department Dons Morrxs and Mlckey Shearer have served three year sentence of cheerleachng IH thelr three years of hlgh school In scholastmc affaxrs Annabelle Sheafier and Don Gmcllesberger seem to have the abxhty of walkmg off w1th scholarshxp honors every year Thelr Scrapbook must be full by now Before the fmal aujournment of our Junxor year we w1ll gxve our Jumor Class Play ann the Jumor and Senxor Banquet whxch wxll be outstandlng events IH our hxgh school lnfe As we Journey on we look forward to our Semor year and all of xts tlVlt19S Mlckey Shearer l ,x I I ' I . . , ' Q - , L . . Sbphorrzore Neue Through the years many students have moved to and from our class at Lakevxlle School We were very glad to see the commg of new students to our class but most of them moved agaxn Some of these students were Ruthella Fllnner Shlrley Scott Harrxette Albertson Duane Acker and Kenny and Donna Paull Our class the class of 53 now xs occupxed by fwe members Three of these members Fred Wagner Harvey Albertson and Jack Morrls orxglnally started at Lakevllle The other two a e Betty Graham who happens to be the only gxrl 1n our class came mn our second year of school and Davmd Shr1ver entered our class ln the thxrd grade and basketball and Betty bemng a Reserve cheerleader The class also 15 ln terested 1n Declamatxon Speeches We enjoyed xmtlatxng the Freshmen and we are looking forward to next year s 1n1t1at1on of the Freshman Class because everyone has fun on that day watchzng the Freshmen ln the stunts they have to do We also have loads of fun at the party whxch IS gxven each year ln thelr honor Thls year at the party each Freshman was glven a subject to talk about Carol Mclntxre gave a talk on 'Teachers and recexved a Sugar Daddy candy bar as a prmze for having the best speech Many games were played and then refreshments were served Plano playmg and dancmng ended an evemng of fun for the Freshmen as well as the other hugh school students Betty Graham S L x ' ll I IV ' ' ' ' ' ' . r Our class is active in a few activities, with the four boys playing softball , . . . . , ., . . .
