First we see Nancy Inman. Poor Nancy has been doomed to spinsterhood and is serving as a missionary to a tribe of liberated women in the congo. Sue Sargent, now at Mercy Hospital has finally found the real thing for the hundred and eightieth time with a newly ad- mitted U of lfootball player. MaryAnn Altman has struck oil in South Dakota and is finally able to pay back phone bills from LVMH. Becky Tanner is now administrator at Williamsport Hospital. Judy Carpenter passed her state boards with flying colors but is now in the hospital with a broken leg received when she fell from her motorcycle. Sarah Smith has become a leader in public health nursing. Her articles on Swinging Singles Diseases have become interna- tionally famous. Sarah is now working on her first book, Cures of Cosmo Girls. Debra Armantrout finally made the plunge, called Dr. Spencer and made an appointment for a total freckle-ectomy. You wouldn't even know Mildred Burrows. She's down to a hundred and twenty pounds and is acting like a spring chicken. Marian Norman is now the mother of six. After the first one, the rest just kept on coming. She is also the head nurse on the Pediatric ward. Now that I.L. has left, Christine Holycross has taken over the school and is eagerly awaiting that big plush office on fifth floor. Vickie Brownfield has put her husband to work trying to think of ways to help her keep the V.A. patients from chasing after her when she wears dresses to work. Marylin Yowell has just been picked for Super Nurse of the Year, due to her lightening-fast decisions on the floor. LuAnn Lindgren is still flashing off her new maroon car, but it will never match up to her red hair. Lynn Blackford will be celebrating her silver anniversary in two weeks. Senility has finally caught up with those two, Clark thinks he's Superman falias Clark Kentj and Lynn thinks she is Lois Lane. After working in Union Hospital's Nursery for twenty years, Kathy Williamson decided to devote her time to being president of the American Nurse's Association. Now we see Myra Henry, sitting in the nurses station in the Peds ward at Lakeview knitting and dreaming of all the little Bubbas at home. Pat Holden has her own factory too. She is making sexy sunglasses just like hers. The biggest feature is the kiddies model. Instead of kittens, they have bedpans on the corners. Patty Asche has her own factory too. She has designed Patty's Pumps Nursing Shoes. Her company guarantees to make you taller than the Pediatric patients. Linda Ribbing is publishing her 33rd edition of Ribbing's Revues-A Guide for Young Brides. Annette Okerlund has a new best seller out. Everything You've Wanted to Know About Studying But Were Afraid to Ask. And here's Mrs. B.j. Pearson, the former Kathi Chesrown listening to STANDING IN THE WATER??? by Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Jeanne jenkins is now a public health nurse concentrating on Health standards of bars such as Freddies, the Underground, the Big Barrel, etc. And here's Fred Hill, director of the AMNA, American Male Nurse's Association. Debbie Weicherding is now Mother Wich at St. Ioe's Convent. Pam Merrick is acting administrator of the Shelter Care Home for Nervous Nurse's. Ms. Merrick has extra-ordinary insight into their needs having been there herself. juli Blankenship is a nun at Mother Weicherdering's Convent. She tried to get into Fred Hill's AMNA but was discriminated against due to her sex. Nancy Ebersol is the industrial nurse at MACDonald's and is reportedly having an affair with Ronald MacDonald. jackie Willis, discouraged with the lack of enthusiasm from nursing students was admitted to Mr. Merrick's Shelter Home for Nervous Nurse's. Sandy Morrison, while sleeping at her apartment building, saved everyone by running down the halls at 4 o'clock in the morning yelling, You guys, get up. There's a storm coming! Sandy received a Citation for Bravery but she also re- ceived one for disturbing the peace. So completes our journey into the future. And who knows, we just might have been right about our predictions! 3 ! 84 Senior Wills I, MARY ANN ALTMAN, will to any jr. my ability to stay away from my husband for months at a time, and pay 3150.00 phone bills every month. Our motivation, enthusiasm, superb professional team work: and above all the ability to function in an atmosphere of peace and harmony. Your answers may include any or all of the following: 1. A, B, C 2. B, C,D 3. A,D 4. D,B 5. C, D 6. All of the above but A. 7. All of the above but C. 8. Sorry! There is no none of the above ! ! ! THOU Lord, light my fire with purpose beyond the thought that life, happy or unhappy, successful or unsuccessful, is extraordinarily interesting. Mighty warriors, celebrated and honored, allow me the pleasure of loving the multitudes of mankind, of escaping intolerance, a unique adventure. Beautiful stars, it is so wrong to embrace the sun, to enjoy spring air, and to love, to think, and act courageously? Powerful faith, do not betray me in my hour of need and despair, a superior man is marked by rising the fallen hawks and doves, an ultimate triumph. Mountain peaks, do not reject me while my direction wavers, for all things must change to something new, to something strange, for flowers grow. Ocean winds, might you offer more than fresh silence to my solitude, and allow me the conviction that only little minds are subdues by midfortune, and sadly mistaken? Dark granite, forget your cold rewards, your solidarity is needed, a virtuous deed should never be de layed, the impulse is too strong, and hesitation unnecessary. Bold rose, do not weary of life, your thorny stems lead inward to secret doors, and are doors outwards, out of self, out of smallness, out of wrong, to eternal peace. -- Canon ADVERTISING DDCTOR'S SUPPORTING THE PARAGON Dr. M. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday. You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the parth of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
