We, the PARAGON staff for 1969, put before you, both in word and picture, the many phases of life that all in Lake View Memorial School of Nursing have experienced during the last year. It is our desire to ever keep alive the spirit of our school. If this is done, our efforts have been most highly rewarded. Dedication We, the members of the PARAGON staff of 1969, do dedicate this year's PARAGON to the faculty of Lake View Memorial School of Nursing. Although now considered an obsolete ritual in many schools of nursing, the capping ceremony is longingly looked forward to by the L.V.M.l-I. pro- bies. As well as meaning successful completion of six months of hard study, it is a turning point from green probies to becoming true freshmen. They now have their caps--that beautiful symbol of the nursing profession. We upperclassmen and members of the faculty welcome all the freshmen and wish them God's blessings. The new student uniform is now one year old. The Class of 1969 is preparing for graduation while the Class of 1971 is pre- paring to enter the fall term.
