Our castles will be built: some will crumble .... but right now. at present, we can look back and benefit from this years experiences. This yearbook is dedicated to you. because it tells Your Story' of the wonderful and fulfilling year of l957 - 58. To the community '.... whose loyal support in everything from athletic events to school elections has been appreclated. America has many small communities with small high schools. but we are especially glad that the indi- viduals and families who live in Lakevieu' settled in this particular spot on the big map. ln dedicating this book, we say congratulations on progress so far, and know that even more progress will be evident in the future.

Administration . . 1918 We are the administrators whose guidance and teaching affects not only the education of our youth but their lives as well. We began this school year ambitious for scholastic, physical, and social development for each student. We planned for each one according to his talents, abilities, and interests. To ,the sophomores, we proposed plans for study, curriculum changes, advice, homework, and social adjustment. To the juniors, we gave encouragement, added responsibility, and stressed the need for outstanding scholastic achievement toward the ever-important senior year. Before the seniors, we placed opportunities for thewacquisition of basic skills and the development of vocational competencies for college, business, and community life.
