Winning is not the most important thing.. This season the Varsity girls basket- ball team did well, ending their season with a 13-6 record. Going into tournoments Lakeview went 1-1 making their final record 14-7. Mr. Craig Wooley, the team’s coach, presented special awards to Julie Therkildsen and Kari Hart for being the team's Most Valuable Players. Julie and Kari both received 1st Team All Conference. Jenny Stokely and Tammie Briggs received Most Im- proved awards ond were both named Honorable Mention All Conference. Oede Stokely received 2nd Team All Conference and was named team captain. Dede also received the Hustler” award. Sophomore Shelli Middlebrook led the Cats with 260 points and Freshman Amy Crawford hod a total of 152 points.
