9eniors 1971 Class Officers L. to R., SEATED: Diana Jensen, Secretary; Larry Goulet, President; Greg Bunce, Vice President. STANDING: Sally Goolsby, Student Council; Markay Moon, Student Council; Betsy Shaw, Treasurer. This was our last year of high school and although we were the first graduating class of the new school, the whole class will never forget all the wonderful times we had at the other schools. Our first class meeting was held and we elected our Senior Class Officers: President Larry Goulet, Vice-President Greg Bunce, Secretary Diana Jensen, Treasurer Betsy Shaw, and Student Council Representatives Sally Goolsby and Markay Moon. This year we nominated for our King and Queen candidates: Alan Charnley, Bob Smyth, Gary Nielsen, Markay Moon, Rosemary Robinson, and Sharyl Winters. Alan Charnley and Markay Moon became our King and Queen. We then sponsored the Christmas Dance Elves Escapade. An- other Activity was Government Day, Jan. 7 at M.C.C. At another class meeting we decided that our class color was Purple, our class song We've Only Just Begun, our class motto Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of our lives and the flower - the white rose. Caps and gowns were ordered having the color purple with white tassels. Then the last activity we participated in as Seniors together was Graduation. Which was on June 11, 1971 on Kos Field.
