Senior Class Officers STANDING: Sonny Moore, President; Jerry Lorge, Alt. Stuoent Council Rep.; Shelia A '- Student Council Rep.; Cc Newhall, Student Council Rep. SEAtiD: Dick El lot'ri ts, Vice President; Gcyia Wonink, Secretory; Joyce Brown, Treasurer. We, the Senior Class of 1962, began our final year of high school with 93 students and ended it with 89. Our ser'or year has been an exciting and busy one. Our first big event was the taking of our senior pictures. Then came the ordering of our announcements and our caps and gowns. We sponsored three big everts his year. First, there was the Senior Play, Hillbilly Weddin , which w'as a big h , We also sponsored two dances; the Christmas donee, Snowflake Serenade , and the spring dance, Sadies Swirl . College night was held at Lake view this yea’ v th several of v ich gar s tap co.,ege$ being represented and the class attended Government Day at Greenville. We also mode a trip to loosing where we toured the Capitol and visited -he Legislature and Con-Con in sess or.. CXur ser 'or skip day was taken on May 22, and consisted of a trip to the 'National Science Museum and he Amusement Park in Chicago. Our senior veor was b-oug - to a close w!th Gass night an May 25, Saccolau-eate on May 27 with Rev.. Davis speaking, and commencement or June 1 with Mr. Stephen Nesbitt speaking.
