As we look Into' th© futur© to 1961 w© see the Seniors of 51 as follows; Out In th© wooly west, we see Leona Edgar riding one of the biggest, rough- est, toughest bronchos around. Careful, now, Leona, or you won't make it back to your big ranch. Dick Hadder now seems to be a name not only known by students of L.H.S. but by people of the whole world. He is the President of the United States on the Democratic ticket. Yes, Roseoe Ackley is in Washington, too. He is Michigan's Representative to Congress and it seems he is quite set in his opinions, as he was when he was a Senior and voted on the class flower. Let's look into the spot light in New York City. There is Joy Andrews, a famed ballet dancer. Germanyne Nielsen is now one of the New York City's prominent models (doing the job she always wished for.) JoAnn Bale is living in New York, too. You see, her husband is playing pro- fessional basketball at Madison Square Gardens. She is now the Mrs. Joe Tempi formerly of Edmore, Michigan. Kate Smith ha3 resigned from her singing career on radio and television. We see Mary Smith taking her place in hope she will reach Kate's goal. The play pools can Talk is sweeping the country and is now playing in New York City. As the curtain goes up, we see Ellen Diamond playing the leading role. Lewis Kempton seems to be having a pretty steady job in New York also. By the way, he is a street cleaner. I think we are going to have a storm. Yesl I was right. There goes Peggy Branch storming out in the yard and telling that big bully to leave her little Richard alone. It seems that quite a few of the members of our class got married, although Bruce Baird still seems to be playing the part of Romeo. Aren't you ever going to be satisfied with only one girl, Bruce? Barbara Houghton is married to that saxophone player and raising what will some day be known as The Walker Orchestra. Mrs. Don Dickinson, former Eunice Van Guilder, has been working hard at her knitting lately. She knits oink or blue garments. I wonder why? Edna De ?4ond Is now married to Robert Nielsen and raising their own little prize fighters. What'8 this? C.J. Poster finally got up enough nerve to ask a girl to marry him and is now farming near Six Lakes. Altona Jensen has been standing over a hot stove cooking, and watching her four little outlaws shoot their ever loving father. Bob Cross, with a Hopplong Cassidy Gun. Well, Leone Nimberger, so they are featuring your name in the 1961 Ice Skating Pollies at the New York Stadium. We see you finally made it. Dorothy Thompson seems to have settled down, too. She and her husband, uene Wager, are farming near Remus. Josephine Charnley is now a nurse in the Kelsey Hospital. She looks very tired for she has just finished a very serious operation. She helped remove Mr. Kos's tonsils. Jane Coles always did like 4-H work. She is the 4-H leader at Coral, Mich. Lakeview has a new manufacturing plant, owned and operated by Deane Hammel, aanufacturer of Hammel Beer. Cont. Lakeview Hotel Phone 36 Fine Meals

Betty Johnson is still waiting for the fleet to coire in. She is going to take her pick. Lucky Girli What kind of a bird is that flying over-head. Why it's a stork who just delivered a 10 lb. 14 oz. bouncing baby boy at the Hutson's which was the former Pat Johnson. Congratulations. The brain of our class has added to the field of Literature, and essay, On Brains . This essayist happens to be Clara Ten Eyck. Now we look into the home of Joyce Dishon s. SayI Hold that temper of yours I Y ou might break that rolling pin. Ten years have passed and Carl Large is still looking for the right girl to say I do . We see that Deane Gage owns his own grocery store. Maybe his experience during his high school days did help him a little. As we look back into 1951 at old Lakeview High, Anna Rassmussen and Louis Morse were an inseparable. Why? Because of a little gold band and the word I do . Who's that cute little blond secretary helping Bob Perks at the Greenville Armory? Why, none other than his little wife, Shirley Sorensen. It looks like La Verna Thatcher did talk Dick Hicks into marriage as they are now happily married with less than one argument a week. It must be Joan Crawford liked school. She is now a school teacher at Lakeview High School tr ying to make the senior boys act their age. The sheriff of the senior play of 1951 sure made a hit with everyone. Now people don't laugh at him when he talks. He is deputy sheriff, Gaylord Edgerly. Our class had everything from housewives to lady wrestlers. As we look at our televisions, we see Marie Williams as the champ of the lady wrestlers. Last but not least, is Jim Imhoff, yes, you guessed it. He is the owner of his fathers John Deere Dealer Shop.
