spHng festival once upon a time . . . with those opening words, the cur- tains parted and storybook began its trip back into your childhood. memories of floppy raggedy ann dolls, the wizard of oz and mother goose were awakened as characters from the entire realm of folklore cavorted before us. the uniqueness of the theme posed problems that remained insurmountable to the end, but the cast and crew crossed their fingers and asked ma goose to lend a protective wing. storybook was a magical trip to make believe. a journey to the never-never land of long ago. a fantasy come true.
