OFQ CU OI' Within the pages of this book are the hopes, dreams, and ideals of the Class of 1960. We have tried to give you an insight into the real character of the school and people who make up this yearbook. Getting this far has not been a one-man job but has been achieved with the help of our prin- cipal, superintendent, teachers, and classmates. We could not have made it without them, and we have appreciated their help more than words can express. In every position imaginable, you must come in contact with people, and there is not a better place than school to leamhow to get along with people. Today, more than ever, business demands a high school education in future employees, but also a college education. That is why it is so necessary for us to seek higher education and thereby be better equipped to enter the business world. To the future graduates of Lakeview High School, we leave this thought, Education is your key to the future. It was with this thought in mind that we prepared this yearbook. Now we present to you the '60 EAGLEg use it as your inspiration and key to the future. THE ANNUAL STAFF OUR PARENTS ibeogcafeoffo Our hearts overflowing with love, gratitude, and admiration, we, the graduating class of 1960, have chosen to honor, in a very special way, those devoted parents upon whom we have de - pended so completely for guidance and understanding throughout the blosso- ming years of our lives. Asyour sonsand daughters, our sen- ior class is indeed privileged to dedi- cate this 1960 EAGLE to you, Mom and Dad. ,712 y7Z,4QI220! y gf SHERMAN MEDFORD 1' NORA SAHAGUN 1 4 1 1 1 1 l 4 4 1 1 I l 1 1 l 1 3 l 1 vi 5 1 i i i 1 1 l 1 l T 1 , , I , 1 I , ADMINISTRATION The quality of mercy is not Jtminedg It droppeth, ax the gentle min from heaven Upon the place heneathg it is twice hlesfd -- It hlesseth him that gives, and him that tqkes. SHAKESPEARE . eve.- z1!0er122fe120Q12f73 essaye Viviun... To the Seniors and the Senior Sponsor: Again it is my privilege to commend your annual staff for work well done. Your school has many ways of inter- preting the quality of its work to the parents and the com- munity. The annual is one of the best because students re- veal their own estimate of the students' accomplishments. Editors and other staff members, your presentation of your school's activities makes us all proud of our school and of you, Sincerely, 9:4-r SAME? Jess E. We will keep our memories with us, As here in our hearts they lie. We have never really realized That soon we would have to part And be left with sweet memories Of those in our heart. We will go and leave each other, But our memories will never die-- Of our dear old friends and classmates Who regretted, Saying Goodby. SENIOR CLASS OF l96O is , x -Y .
