VICA The Vica Club co-sponsor- ed the Weirdo Olympica and di- vided the money as a project to start out its first year. Wade Germany won in the Parade of Weirdos. Richard Rhodes re- ceived the State Architectual Drafting Honor and will leave for Washington D. C. in June. Other activities included an ice-cream supper and swim- ming party at Ft. Oglethorpe pool. Key Club Sweetheart: Lynn Fant Beta Beta Club is an honorary so- ciety that requires a high B aver- age and a faculty recommendation for membership. All members must be at least sophomores. This year the Beta Club had 4 so- cials, an induction and a party for the new members at midse- mester. Key Club: Scott Hammer, President; Mr. Arp, Fred May, Vice President; Eddie Davis, Secretary; Jay Archer, Treasurer. The Key Club's first activity this year was the Halloween Hot- Dog give away with the help of the Kiwanis Club. It participated in the Easter Seals Campaign. In Louisville, Kentucky, it attended the Key Club District Convention. Mr. Arp, the new sponsor, has already made plans for the fu- ture. During the summer they will be attending the International Convention in New Orleans. 27
