J U K CLASS 1 0 R S OFFICERS GENE HARRIS . . . President VERA JOY KILGORE . . Secretary CARL LEE ... . Vice President THOMAS CROSS . . . Treasurer LUCY LEQUIRE...................Social Chairman In 1944 a group of six year olds entered the first grade. Since that time many of the group have entered other schools and new ones have joined us. Going through those years of grammar school we all became very close and have remained that way. In the seventh grade we began to take an active part in school. That year we took a trip to Savan- nah and the eight grade was begun in the new building and then we felt that we were actually part of the school. We began our ninth year together with three separate homerooms. Each of these rooms elected officers but in the tenth grade George Gilstrap was president of the entire class. Now as Juniors we are looking forward to being Seniors. Presiding over class now are: President, Gene Harris,- Vice-President, Carl Lee,- Secretary, Vera Kilgore; Treasurer, Thomas Cross, and Social Chairman, Lucy Lequire. As school is closing for this term, we are filled with memories of our eleven years together as a part of Lakeview School.
