Freshman Football Despite several close games, the freshmen blue team still came out on top. Players that were recognized for their per- formances were: quarterback, lohn Weaver, flanker, Charlie Taylor, offensive and defensive tackle, Scott Trammel, and noseguard, Chris Klein. Among some of the victories by the blue team were: 34-6 over Grady Spruce, 21-6 over Rockwall, 21-6 over South Garland, 28-14 over Wilmer Hutchins, 28-8 over Highland Park, 43-8 over North Garland, and 22-13 over Garland.
