NHS Lakeview Centennial's Na- tional Honor Society is made up of Seniors with a grade point average of 11.00. This club is sponsored by Shiela Greebon and is kept in order by president Pravin Moodley. For a fund-raiser I they sold bags of pecans, and the money is to be used toward a scholarship. They do allow themselves some free time away from school work, by having parties and get-togethers. Nl.H.S. member Shari White was one of the few nominated for Homecoming queen. Greg Babb is always quick to volunteer his services to ladies in distress. Legacy Staff Though there are many organizations here at Lakeview few help the student gain ex- perience self-discipline and skills like the Legacy staff. Beginning with the first meeting of the selected sophomores juniors learned that the sponsors Glenna Newkirk and Molly Grant as well as editor Tammy Thompson, meant business. Many of the newer members had to learn to adjust from the summer books of the past two years to the spring book of this year. The business and editorial staffs worked both together and apart throughout the year on the sale, production and distribution students were taught skills in pro- ducing layouts photography selling and most importantly of all how to work with other students. and seniors in August, the staff of the Legacy, yearbook.
