The members entered and placed in events such as bull riding, bareback riding, shoot dogging, and calf roping. At the end of the year the members chose a Rodeo Club Sweetheart to , represent the club. Lakeview Rodeo students demonstrate their skill in team roping. R ? In welding class, students are taught skills of the trade. Jerry Downey demonstrates the accuracy needed in designing a house. Students learn practical skills Skills that are required to become a welder or draftsman are taught here at Lakeview. The Welding class, taught by Mr. Richard Jones, learned three different forms of the trade this year. The students in the Welding program at- tended district and regional contests. The Drafting program, taught by Mr. Commer Boren, teaches the basic skills in drawing blue prints. The purpose of HOCT is to develop an awareness of health- related fields. The students learn primary health skills, the terms and legalities of the medical field, as well as job interviewing techniques.
