Students tune for trade Marine Engine Repair is a vocational program designed for students in- terested in a career in motorboat maintenance. The students in this course are taught to fix electrical systems, tune engines and replace wornout parts. This two-year program was involved in the area contest at Waco. Industrial Arts Compete The Industrial Arts Club attended many regional and state competitions this yearg among these were the Annual Texas State Industrial Competition CAIASAJ held in the Waco Community Center, and the Regional Industrial Arts Competition. The club also attend- ed many Youth Leadership conferences. The Industrial Arts Club sold hand- made wooden novelty items, which they had made, to raise money for the club's activities.
