Scores of cars, motorcycles and trucks flooded the parking lot each morning. The multitude of vehicles made for much variety in the crowd- ed parking lot. Everything from sleek sports cars to the ever popular clunkers challenged each other for space. Motorcycles were in abundance and trucks had increased in number from previous years. May I help you? 1 Trying to beat inflation When the bell rang at 3:15 each day a great many students went, not home or the nearest NlcDonaId's, but to an after school job. More and f more students work after school to- I day. Their part-time jobs allow them I to pay for cars and gas, save for col- I lege, or just have a little extra spen- ding money. Although working and going to school make for a full schedule, most students managed to keep going, Pam checks the prices.
