Various organizations spon- sored dances to raise money and help keep up the spirit at Lakeview. Deejays played everything from country and western to new wave and all the latest hits. Flashing lights kept the beat as students danced until dawn, or at least until twelve. Spirit dances were a favorite tradi- tion at Lakeview. Slow dancing! 28 Activities
