Where Patriot Pride begins Lakeview's administrators are con- stantly striving to promote confi- dence and pride in Lakeview and the community. During this past year, they have made a special effort in the Pat Chumley, Principal - Tin.. J R 1'-f'4J,f X. X. X 'N--XXV' ' N 'Tl C+? area of sportsmanship and the now famous Patriot Pride. Throughout the year, Principal Pat Chumley and Assistant Principals Andy Coleman and Gary Fiehm have encouraged Student Council and other student organizations to insti- tute activities that encourage open communication and friendship within the Garland Independent School Dis- trict. There have been workshops, joint pep rallies and various other activities that accomplished much in these areas. Along with asking students to appreciate and respect city rivals, the administration has encouraged stu- dents to be proud of Lakeview. Through messages on the public address system, and personal exam- ple, the administrators worked dili- gently to prove that Patriot Pride is alive and well at Lakeview.
