The golf team was strengthened well as Freshman Q0lf6I'S Keith Experience Strengthens Team Guyon and Jim Parker, are part of the added depth Lakeview has the luxury of having. The Mesquite and Lewisville invita- tionals ended with Lakeview finishing in higher contention than ever before. As the Legacy went to press, Coach Knight and the team were looking forward to the spring tournaments to prove that the Lakeview golfers were top contenders in invitational tourna- ments, as well as in district tourna- ments. Velda Ziegler is Lakeview's sole female golfer. She participated in the lrving Invitational Tournament and Ft. L. Turner Tournament. this year by having more experience than in past years. The team, headed by seniors David Harvey, Lucian Kuecher and John White, should have proved competitive during the 80-81 season. Depth will make it competitive for years to come.
