Students compete with vocational skills The skills required to draw up the blue prints for the buildings of tomor- row are being taught right here at Lakeview. Second Marty Overstreet, David McGee, Randy Jerry Downey, Jay Weesher, Brett Ken Moore. Clay Garret, Mike Cline, Kearney, S 'csv' comes to an end with the students drawing a dream house. As a group, Drafting participated in the district and regional VICA com- petitions in March and April. They took preliminary and advanced drawings to both levels. Students in the welding program are taught three different forms of the trade allowing them to become more versatile in the working world. Lakeview's welders also attended district and regional contests. Some projects went on to higher levels of competitions. 2
