Organizations Liberty Dolls help promote spirit The junior varsity drill team, the Liberty Dolls, was active throughout football season. At any home game they could be found in the stands directly behind the cheerleaders join- ing in on the cheers and chants. Under the direction of sponsor Mrs. June Williams, they also participated in the Friday afternoon pep ralli- doing hand routines along with tl Sweethearts. The girls performed during the a nual J.V. pep rally the week of tl South Garland game. Patriot - Robert Barr Building spiriig building Enjoying a few minutes of calm before the game begins. pride Lakeview's Minute Men and Patriot play vital roles in the life of Lakeview. Under the sponsorship of Larry Kerbel, the Minutemen help the cheerleaders with their stunts and help promote Patriot Pride and spirit throughout the student body. There are six Minutemen, five of whom are seniors and one who is a junior. Robert Barr is this year's Patriot mascot. He was selected on the basis of his essay concerning Patriot Pride.
