When the grind of every day routines starts to drag the students down, the student council decides that it is time for an assembly. This year the Senior Class sponsored an assembly featur- ing LYNX, one of the most popular rock groups in the area. LYNX performed such songs as Pinball Wizard by the Who. They also performed Van Halen, Kansas, and Beatles' songs. For the price of a 31.50, the LYNX assembly provided enjoyment and a welcome 'wreak from class for L.C. students. The keyboards play an important part in the song People of the South Winds by Kansas.
