“Success-Our Destiny'' President----------------------Mike Hileman Vice President----------------Ralph James Secretary-----------------Mildred Entsminger Treasurer-----------------Jackie Flack As we, the seniors of '59, recall all the happy experiences and pleasant memories we've had over our past years at Laketon there have been several wonderful qualities added to our lives. We started our schooling in 1947. Oh, how well we should remember this important year. Little did we realize at this early age that the molding of our education, which would be with us the rest of our lives, had begun. As freshmen, how well we will always remember all the initiations! We somehow managed to make it through. Starting into high school was really a big step to us. Trying to find the different class rooms and get there on time was all a part of our freshmen year. Before we knew it we were sliding into our sophomore year. This year we were finally adjusted to high school and were sponsoring a skating party. We received our class sweaters, also. Then all of a sudden we were juniors and presenting our first play, The Cannibal Queen. One of the best things we will always remember is the wonderful time we had decorating for the Junior-Senior Prom. Having our first cafe- teria supper, which was quite a memorable thing, was all a part of this junior year. Receiving our class rings was really an exciting moment to us. We worked, but we will always hold precious to us all the fun and good time we had together. At last the year we thought would never get here, finally came. The best year of all, our Senior Year!! We were busiest of all when our senior year rolled around. We were working as hard as we could to raise money for our senior trip. Selling magazines, Christmas cards, and annuals, and giving a play, were all a part of our senior year. Planning our trip which we had looked forward to for so many years was really a full time project. Making graduation plans was really a climax to our wonderful times we had at L. H. S.
