The Crew As we, the Seniors of ’58, glance back over our school years we remember them as a long hard grind, but also as one big experience that we shall never forget. There were 32 of us that entered this important building in 1946. Little did we expect that we were getting into something that would affect us for the rest of our lives. It didn’t take us long to get into the swing of things, and before we knew it, we were stumbling up the steps to the seventh grade. Two years later we were initiated into high school as green freshmen. Then we started thinking of projects to help toward our Senior Trip. We sold pen sets, had several car washes, a turkey contest, skating parties, and our Junior Play, “Be Happy? Go Wacky!” In our Senior year we really got our noses to the grind- stone. We had a magazine campaign which broke the school record; also concessions at home games and the four-way tourney, a Senior Play, two cafeteria suppers, and Christmas card sales. Some of our memories linger with us. We remember plainly our trip to Chicago, the time we went to “The Rock and Roll Show,” and the many parties we had out at the “White House.” We have been honored to have Ned Schuler as our president for the last four years. There are eleven of us that have been here twelve years. They are: Tom Pence, Marilyn Swygart, Jan Ohmart, Phil Clingenpeel, Don Drudge, Judy McCullough, Ned Schuler, Don Mylin, Penny White, Larry Davis, and Max Nehler.
