Mr. Davis, Principal A philosophy is something to believe in and live by. Everyone needs a motto or saying to lead them through life. Just a simple one will do if it has some meaning behind it. Give to the world the best you have . . . And the best will come back to you is the philosophy of Mr. Davis. By helping and doing things for all, one gets the best in return. This is our principal ' s ad- vice to students. Administrator: directed operations The job of a principal is not to make students un- easy but to insure a place where students feel they belong, a place where a student would enjoy be- ing, a place with an edu- cational climate, or a place to enable everyone, teachers and students alike, to do their best and to take advantage of all opportunities that may come their way. Our prin- cipal, Mr. Davis, gives special directions to facul- ty members as the school day begins.

Q rvcj H63 Lakeside Junior High School Fort Wayne, Indiana J?0 3 Dedicated to Beverly Ann Bauer- The dedication of this book is a small tribute to a girl who dedicated a much more significant and valuable quality to us; for we are the youth of America, and Beverly dedi- cated her life to our generation. With a mind filled with knowledge for material, Beverly developed her spirit with good works at every plausible opportun- ity. This good work and knowledge flowed freely from her likable character. Her deep qualities at- tached themselves magnetically to the overall per- sonality of her school and markedly improved it. The dedication of this yearbook cannot compensate for the priceless contributions which Beverly made. It can serve as a reminder for us to contemplate what she said and did and cause us to be grateful for it. Beverly ' s own words well express her attitude toward life. If you do not look, you cannot see the glories that God hath made to be.
